Homodeus - The Subject of a New Metaphysics
Political philosophies and ideologies of the last centuries placed the creation of a ‘new man’ at their core. We have approached a radically new juncture in the metaphysical cycle, dialectical convergences and unique ontological conditions, governs by its very logic at this very point in time, the emergence of a radically new mode of being, a new Man free from the synthetic ‘isms’. A new Subject. ‘God is dead’, proclaims the Nietzschean Zarathustra. Enlightenment masterminds have succeeded in their quest to de-sacralize Being, severing the connection of the Subject from its highest form of identity. What is left? Nothing. For the absolute contained within is everything. Modern nihilism. The Hero is dead. All there is, is tragedy.Homodeus. The resurrection of the Hero. Man killed God to become God. Homodeus, through strife and struggle, takes two steps, overcomes God as the external absolute, and descends into the abyss, only to emerge having overcome the desacralized void of nothingness, internalizing the absolute, finding the source of the sacred within. A philosopher. A fractured whole. A Subject, aware of his unique place in the evolution of the cosmos. An Author. A co-creator of reality.Homodeus is the Subject of a new metaphysics, of a new Aeon, of a new paradigm. Homodeus is born from the ashes of modernity, just when everything seems lost. He is the product, the culmination, of a deceitful dialectical misdirecting of western thought, into the domain of negation and a false ontology. A project that set out to free the individual only enslaved him, destroying what’s left, scattering his true identity into a sea of illusions. The man of modernity lost his unique place and purpose in reality, reduced to a mere function in a vast global factory.Behold! Prometheus Unbound! Homodeus - The Subject of a New Metaphysics
